What is the KASON-TN-5AT?

The KASON-TN-5AT is a digital display automatic spring torsion testing machine. It measures the torsion angle and torsional moment of torsion springs, spiral springs, elastic elements and friction mechanisms.

Which standards does it comply with?

JB/T 9370-1999 and JJG 269-2006, the torsion testing machine standards, plus material testing methods to ISO, JIS, ASTM and DIN.

What are its key specifications?

Rated capacity is 5000 Nmm, with 0.1 Nmm torque resolution and 0.01° twist angle resolution. Torque indication error is ±1% and torsion angle error is ±1%. The twist plates are 120 mm high with a 120 mm torsion disk.

How does it work?

It measures torque at a fixed twist angle, or twist angle at a fixed torque. Up to 10 test points can be set and torsional stiffness is displayed. It judges pass/fail automatically against set limits, holds peak values, and protects the sensor from overload with an alarm and automatic reverse.
